- Confidentiality restored
- No redecoration needed
- Measured dB drop
The problem
The meeting rooms at LV’s headquarters are used for genuinely confidential discussions. They had been fitted out by interior designers with no acoustic input at all: the partitions were hollow and lightweight, and the void above the suspended ceilings ran straight from one room to the next. Conversations could be followed from outside.
What we did
We drilled discreet holes at half-metre intervals and injected acoustic polyurethane into the partitions, filling the voids from the inside and making good afterwards. Above the suspended ceilings we blocked the perimeter with acoustic barrier and sprayed insulation to close the flanking path.
The outcome
Speech privacy was restored to every treated room with a measured reduction in transmitted sound — and because all the work happened inside the construction, not one wall had to be redecorated.
