- Neighbour complaints resolved
- Condensation eliminated
- Warmer, drier building
The problem
Noise from the dogs was leaking out of a lightweight building into the surrounding residential streets, and the owners were facing pressure from neighbours that threatened the business. The building also suffered heavy condensation, which is common when a lot of warm, damp air meets a thin uninsulated shell.
What we did
We sprayed an acoustic polyurethane system to the inside of the building envelope, adding mass and absorption where the noise was escaping, while the same layer removed the cold internal surface.
The outcome
Noise reaching the neighbours dropped to a level that resolved the complaints, condensation stopped completely, and the building became cheaper to heat — a warmer, drier space for the dogs and the staff.
